The Light Directing glass block enables the light beam to be oriented in specific directions – according to the way in which the blocks are installed – which avoids direct irradiation of light thanks to the special prismatic structures they contain.
The light directing glass block, with a 50% light transmission value, is ideal especially in environments which require the minimization of direct light, orienting it towards specific points in the room (ie the ceiling).

Introducing the VetroPieno a solid glass block that combines all the appeal of traditional bricks with the transparency and illumination of glass.
This completely unique design solution can be used in place of traditional bricks to create dramatic interior walls or partitions that maximize the passage of light from room to room — or as a subtle design accents that add a touch of style, character and colour.
Its standard shape and size make it a versatile building element that can be installed horizontally or vertically to achieve desired effects: traditional patterns, continuous surfaces, subtle outlines, or colourful light reflections.
Unlike the classic glass block, VetroPieno is smaller in both width and height and can be used to obtain thinner glass structures that optimize space and add depth to interiors.
VetroPieno is available in three colours—nordica, siena and blue—as well as in the clear version.

Glass blocks are available in a range of fire-rated classifications: from -/60/- to 90/90/90 and are used in floors and walls which are required to be fire resistant by the National Construction Code (NCC). The -/90/- glass blocks are bullet proof and are used in banks, prisons and detention centres as well as areas requiring additional security measures.
Glass Block Solutions is very excited to announce that its range of certified fire-rated products has been expanded to include the Pegasus range of glass blocks. Tested in accordance with AS 1530.4-2005 the CSIRO found that the Pegasus blocks achieve a fire resistance of FRL -/60/-. This means that clients are now able to choose from a wider range of colours, patterns and finishes for their fire rated projects.
